Aerosol End of Line Operator - Holmes Chapel

The work location is in Holmes Chapel

The contract is until 1st October 2021 (to start ASAP)

The pay on offer is £15.28/h PAYE

The role is working for a leading pharmaceutical contract development and manufacturing organisation.

Please be aware this is a shift-based role:

Week 1: Sun-Thu : 10pm - 6am

Week 2: Mon-Fri : 6am - 2pm

Week 3: Mon-Fri : 2pm - 10pm

Job Purpose

  • To ensure all activities associated with the End of Line filling process are completed in an accurate and timely manner to meet local customer service requirements whilst observing cGMP and HSE requirements
  • To provide production support to the Aerosols Process and Shift teams as required

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • To perform Aerosols filling End of Line can collation, reconciliation, packaging and labelling activities
  • To undertake materials movement activities of filled intermediate and production materials between the Warehouse staging and Aerosols processing areas
  • To undertake materials preparation and delivery activities within general Pharmaceutical and controlled Pharmaceutical areas
  • To provide support for general production activities within the Aerosols facility

Filling support activities

  • Operate automatic End of Line product collation equipments
  • Preparation of packaging materials (erecting and cleaning of correx trays)
  • Performance of 'In-Process' checks to ensure product quality
  • Take analytical samples
  • Creation of product labels, product reconciliation and document completion to cGMP standards
  • Maintenance of area cleanliness, housekeeping and organisation

Ancillary activities

  • Perform ancillary activities associated with the Aerosols process
  • Movement of stock between Warehouse and Aerosols facility
  • Materials preparation and replenishment
  • Performance of area and manual equipment cleaning within controlled Pharmaceutical area


  • Minimum of 2 GCSE's in English and Maths and/or meet the required standard in the company selected aptitude tests.
  • Works with high level of numerical and written accuracy
  • Works well within a team structure and has the ability to adapt to and deal with change.
  • Handles pressure and stress constructively
  • Hits targets consistently, action orientated and customer focussed
  • Prepared to admit mistakes and faults and seek support and guidance


  • Experience of working in controlled areas desirable
  • Experience of high-speed repetitive operations desirable
