Machine Learning Engineer / Data Scientist (Python Comp Sci Mathematics Pyspark). Disruptive, Machine Learning driven InsurTech company is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer / Data Scientist to join their growing team. You'll be working on robust, well written software within a company that is very proud of their infrastructure and have a well-engineered data platform with little technical debt. You'll be working alongside a small, friendly team of highly intelligent engineers where you'll have a lot of opportunity to learn and grow.

The company have created an ML driven API product that sits between insurance companies and price comparison websites to give real-time, competitive insights.

As a Machine Learning Engineer / Data Scientist you'll be responsible for building out the data pipelines and machine learning pipelines, creating innovative solutions that sit at the core of the real-time architecture. You'll work alongside a highly talented team of data scientists and software developers that use a modern tech stack including Python, AWS and Pyspark.

The company is based in London however you have the option to work from home up to 4 days a week.

Requirements:

A Data Scientist who has pure Machine Learning experience with a strong understanding of the ML core fundamentals

Degree educated in Computer Science, Mathematics or similar

Data analysis experience, exploring data and an ability to communicate this to stakeholders

Good Python coding skills (or a desire to learn)

Excellent communication and collaboration skills
