Lead DevOps Engineer London to £90k

Lead DevOps Engineer (Azure AWS IaC Ansible Puppet Chef CI/CD Docker Kubernetes). Are you an experienced DevOps Engineer looking for the next step into a lead position? Would you like to use modern technologies and tools including Kubernetes, Ansible and Chef and develop new skills?

Hugely successful trading company is seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer to join their team. You'll play a critical role in optimising the core product, automating CI/CD pipelines and implementing rigorous testing to ensure development is meeting the required standards. You'll take ownership of the overall product release, guiding processes as you see fit and maintaining consistency throughout. This role will require you to lead a team of 5 engineers who are based in India.

Based in London you'll join a growing team of friendly and supportive individuals. You won't be expected to be in the office every day and can work from home 3 - 4 days per week.

Requirements:

Experience working as a DevOps Engineer

Ideally you'll have some leadership experience or have a desire to move into a lead position

Knowledge of Cloud technologies such as Azure (must have) and AWS (ideally)

CI/CD pipeline experience

Knowledge of IaC technologies such as Ansible, Puppet and Chef

Experience with containerisation, Docker and Kubernetes

Scripting experience (Java ideally)

Excellent communication and collaboration skills
