Senior JavaScript Developer London to £95k

Senior JavaScript Developer / Technical Lead (Vanilla JavaScript HTML5 CSS3). Are you a highly skilled JavaScript Developer? You could be progressing your career in a senior, hands-on role at a City based trading firm.

As a Senior JavaScript Developer you will take a lead role within an Agile team creating new features on a highly feature rich HTML5 / JavaScript / CSS real time trading platform front end. There's a range of projects including migrating to the Cloud (AWS). You'll work closely with the Design Team to review and feedback on designs as well as the Java Team to integrate with the backend trading systems.

As a senior member of the team you'll also help to provide technical leadership via mentoring and be involved with the design and architecture phase, collaborating with Product Owners, where you'll be able to influence technology choices.

There's currently a remote interview process, following social distancing you'll be working in an informal atmosphere in the City with a good work life balance, casual dress code, bright, spacious offices and a peaceful work environment.

Requirements:

You have strong Vanilla JavaScript skills and a good knowledge of associated frameworks, primarily modern Angular and React

You have strong HTML5 and CSS3 skills

You have a good understanding of software development, architecture and design principles

You enjoy problem solving and are not afraid to make mistakes and start again

You believe in well tested, quality code - Unit testing / TDD experience

You're collaborative and pragmatic, happy to mentor and share ideas / knowledge
