BI Developer London to £60k

BI Developer (SQL ETL). Hugely successful, high profile law firm is seeking a skilled BI Developer. Joining the Data Services team you will act as an interface between the business and technical stakeholders to translate business needs into defined requirements, develop and implement robust technical solutions.

Typically you'll be developing and maintaining SSRS reports, SSAS cubes and PowerBI dashboards as well as SSIS packages and ad-hoc SQL queries for analysis and investigation. You'll be creating Stored Procedures for reporting and ETL and supporting development of the Data Warehouse to include new data sources and functionality using SQL, SSIS and SSAS. Working across the full development lifecycle you'll liaise with business users to gather requirements and develop technical specifications for reports.

Requirements:

You're an experienced BI Developer with strong Microsoft SQL Server knowledge

You have a good knowledge of the SQL Server BI Stack including SSIS, SSAS, SSRS; PowerBI and Dimensional Modelling (Kimball Modelling)

You are pro-active, keen to learn, take ownership and develop your BI skills

You're collaborative and have excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience with an of the following would be great but not essential: Python, C#, Azure Data Platforms
