IT Project Manager

Project managing and delivering the transition of third-party IT delivery and support partners. Works with the procurement and commercial teams to accelerate and drive the delivery of value. Takes responsibility for leading the tender process, planning the transition and making sure the team's work is well run. Ensures that their teams are functioning smoothly and deals with any blockers and issues that come up. Essential Skills / Qualifications5+ years IT project management.Experience of project managing tender processes (working with procurement/commercial teams, third party suppliers and SMEs) for delivery partners and support teamsProven working experience of producing business cases and tender deliverables e.g. evaluation criteria, statement of requirementsExperience planning and managing the transition of suppliers / delivery partnersDemonstrable knowledge of agile and lean practices.Strong commercial management experience.Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.Understanding of product delivery and of all the issues that can arise.Proven working experience in project managementExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience managing projects through the full life cycleProven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timelineManaging suppliersDemonstratable experience working in complex and fast paced environments. Ability to multi-task and manage various project elements simultaneously

Personal QualificationsStrong relationship management: excellent communication and influencing skills - verbal and written - with the ability to liaise at all levels.Balance of both technical awareness and business acumen.Ability to manage in an ambiguous environment, clarifying strategies and plans, giving a sense of direction and purpose for self and team.Ability to drive change and overcome obstacles and resistance.Constructive and collaborative but with the ability to step in and take decisions in a timely manner to move the team forward.Excellent people management skills, able to engage and lead, with a passion for stretching and improving both teams and processes.Confident and convincing presentation skills.Self-motivated and able to work remotely within a team.
