Application Support Analyst - ERP, CRM - WakefieldGreat opportunity to join a new team providing critical IT support to their core applications and systems as they undergo a a major digital transformation, including implementing a new ERP system. Client DetailsThe client are a large manufacturing business with operations in the UK and Europe. They are at the start of a digital transformation and this role plays a critical part in delivering that, as part of a newly created team. The role can offer some home working, but you are likely to be office based 1 day per week. DescriptionApplication Support Analyst - ERP, CRM - WakefieldThis role provides day to day support for employees, customers, and suppliers, helping ensure that services that underpin the business processes within the company are available as needed globally. You will be part of a team supporting ERP, CRM, HR, E-commerce, Intranet, Sharepoint, Microsoft Teams and more. Day to day responsibilities will include:* Provide support on software and integrations, complete database repair tasks, and undertake systems administration tasks.

* Control access to applications (Create/disable users, establish permission sets in line with segregation of duties and authorisation policies, password resets).

* Plan and carry out onboarding/removal actions for employee, customer and vendor access to business applications, websites and portals

* Maintain administrative records in line with IT procedures (including business applications CMDB)

* Log issues/incidents/requests and liaise with users, subject matter experts and 3rd parties on resolution, recording actions with ticket tracking system

* Take action on system issues in line with work instructions - for example on interface issues or communications failures

* Support system implementation activities

* Work with internal teams, software and other vendors and developers as appropriate to move new business systems and system upgrades into live operation, and subsequently resolve application /systems/ integration issues during live running.ProfileYou must be an able communicator who can manage their own workload as well as being comfortable working as part of a team. Experience & Key Skills Required

* Familiarity and experience in an Application Support or Development Role* Ability to write clear, succinct work instructions, technical notes, user instructions, on-line help

* Experience providing support directly to end-users or customers

* Strong listening and verbal communication skills

* Analytical

* English Language skills (additional languages Spanish, German, French useful)

* Good working knowledge of Microsoft productivity toolsExperience supporting ERP systems is essential. Desirable experience:SQLSAP Crystal reportingKnowledge of ITIL service management principles Job OfferSalary is dependent on experience but in the region of £30,000 as a guide. Full benefits can be disclosed upon request.Please note, although the business is willing to offer remote working for 80% of the time, there will be a requirement to be in their West Yorkshire office at least 1 day per week.
