I am looking for a senior software manager to join my client, a multinational technology company based in Cork, to lead a brand new engineering team that are developing senor based technology. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to work on cutting edge technology with a wide range of applications covering; wearable tech, VR, Augmented reality and Automotive. Successful applicants will need to have prior experience leading and managing engineering teams, mentoring junior engineers and working with global software teams to track and coordinate project schedules and deliverables. Essential experienceExperience with embedded systems such as ARM, DSPEmbedded programming skills in C/C++Working knowledge of fixed & floating-point based designsMaking effective engineering tradeoffs between performance, memory, power consumption, and computational complexityUnderstanding of Matlab and Python.Any experience in Sensors, DSP’s or Machine Learning is highly advantageous but not essential.
