Business Systems Analyst - Manufacturing - up to £35kGreat opportunity to join a new team as their Business Systems Analyst, for this Wakefield based manufacturing company, delivering tangible change and technology driven system improvements. Client DetailsThe client are a large manufacturing business with operations across the UK and Europe. This role is forming part of a newly created team to deliver digital transformation, particularly the implementation of a new ERP system. DescriptionBusiness Systems Analyst - Manufacturing - up to £35kYour key responsibility in this role is to deliver business benefit from implementing and maintaining better business processes supported by ERP and other IS solutions. Day to day activities will include:* Be the global subject matter expert in the designated business process and applications domain

* Resolve process and systems problems and deliver requests for change

* Quantify opportunities for improvement from process and IS solutions changes

* Analyse and document As-Is processes in conjunction with business users

* Develop, document, and maintain To-Be processes, functional requirements, data integrations, and non-functional requirements in conjunction with business users, suppliers, or customers

* Maintain business processes and data flows in BPM tool

* Perform options appraisals and recommend appropriate process and software solutions

* Deliver configuration changes and/or produce technical specifications for application programming specialists in compliance with company change control processes

* Perform systems validation and user acceptance testing in conjunction with business users as required

* Prepare 'How to' guides and other training materials as needed, including coaching/training to super-user/user community globally

* Plan and perform project tasks, including but not limited to technical tasks such as data mapping, loading and reconciliation, business process verification and systems integration testing

* Provide point of contact for business super-users/users after go-live and provide hands-on support as appropriate alongside colleagues and software vendors following ITIL processesProfileThis role would suit a technical and process driven individual, with very strong stakeholder management skills. This role operates across their global business, so someone who is used to working in large, geographically dispersed teams would be ideal. Key experience:* Degree or equivalent in Business Systems or similar analytical area

* Appreciation of business process modelling techniques and notations

* Experience of organising and analysing data to support decision-making using common Microsoft tools

* Good research and analytical skills

* Strong writing and succinct verbal skills

* Understanding of common business processes

* Appreciation of technology as a driver for change

* Good time management and prioritisation skills

Job OfferAs part of a new team, this is an opportunity to drive change and have significant input into the long term success and viability of the digital transformation agenda. This is a large company with a multinational client base and a global outlook. Salary offered is £25-35k depending on relevant experience and applicable qualifications. Please note, whilst this role can be offered on a predominantly home based working basis, there will still be a need to be in the office (near Wakefield) as much as one day per week.
