Senior Data Analyst (Liquidity)

Location - London

Daily rate - £522/day PAYE - £670/day Umbrella

Start date - ASAP

Contract - 6 Months

Our financial services client is currently seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst to join the team. A significant ALCM change programme is underway in the Organisation to roll out global systems and a standard operating model to support liquidity reporting. The programme includes implementation of a global liquidity reporting solution on Cloud platform for regulatory and internal liquidity reporting, and implementation and maintenance of standard data feeds from source systems.

Key Responsibilities:Provide senior data analysis across ALCM with a specific focus on Liquidity reports and the underlying data required to support themWork with Group and local stakeholders to define critical data elementsMapping data lineage and flowSupport the implementation and uplift of data controls to support the process for liquidity reporting and data sourcing projects.Take a lead role in a range of analytical and project activities:Identification of critical data and bringing it under governanceWorking with users and IT across data providers to document upstream data lineage / flow and review / define / implement appropriate controlsIdentification and management of project dependencies, risks and issuesWork with regional users, IT, other global businesses and functions, as well as global stakeholders to deliver project activities.Have a good understanding of Finance / Liquidity reporting processes, and systems and data landscape.Produce clear documentation and communication of project requirements and analysisCoordinate and hold data requirements gathering and process definition workshops with the businessAgree documented data lineage and controls with the businessMonitor, track issues, risks and dependencies on analysis and requirements work

Key Requirements:A strong understanding of Liquidity regulatory reporting, specifically on LCR, NSFR and PRA110 reportsExcellent analysis skills, with ability to structure problems and find solutionsA good appreciation of systems and data architectures, specifically in a Risk and Finance environmentAn understanding of systems delivery lifecycles and delivery methodologiesA strong appreciation of systems and data architectures, specifically in a risk and finance environmentProficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Visio, Powerpoint, Project)Strong data analysis skills, with working expereince of SQLFinancial Services project experience across both internal reporting and regulatory requirements, with experience of Liquidity regulatory reporting systems and processes, specifically on LCR, NSFR and PRA110 reportsDemonstrated experience of working on large scale project implementations involving ITExperience of working in a large banking organisation preferredStrong interpersonal, problem-solving and analysis skillsMature and independent - able to work with little supervisionTeam player able to manage conflict and conflicting prioritiesAttention to detail, and desire and ability to see a task through to the endExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDesire and commitment to make a difference.Dynamic and willing to challenge the status quoAbility to understand the detail but also able to take a big picture approachDelivery focused, and able to meet and manage deadlinesAbility to provide leadership in areas of SME expertise
