My client is looking for a Technical Delivery Professional for an initial 6 month contract with the potential to extend.

Inside of IR35.

Why this job matters:

*Assets in the course of construction (AICC) is a risk item on the BT group register. Mobile AICC is ~£800m, with a yearly budget of ~£600m, there is a programme of work in place to reduce this in line with a defined target

*This role will be a critical part of the AICC reduction programme, working cross functionally with vendors trams internally to drive down the mobile AICC balance.

Specific Job Requirements:

*This role will be a critical part of the AICC reduction programme, working cross functionally with vendors trams internally to drive down the mobile AICC balance.

Your accountabilities:

* Drives asset registration for core/RAN budget when assets are ready for service

* Provides accurate forecasts on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis to ensure AICC registration is predictable and in line with targets

* Co-ordinates between Core Infrastructure Expansion and FSSC to reduce AICC

* Co-ordinates between RAN vendors and FSSC to reduce AICC

* Lead on core/RAN asset validation, working with finance and auditors to ensure the fixed asset register is accurate

Capabilities required for the role:

* Be agile - You identify opportunities to use collaborative approaches and continuous improvement. You contribute to projects as a subject matter expert or content owner.

* Strong governance skills and experience: challenging costs, forecasting and process across all owners of capex from Mobile and CFU's

* SME for SAP systems covering purchasing, budget management and control and AICC.

Expected Experience:

* Developed quotes /business cases and ways to avoid costs

* Developed an internal network of strong working relationships you can call on to assist with your role

* Advocating and applying technology where it has not been used previously

* Delivered results when the deliverables were unclear

* Tackled process/policy obstacles to delivery
