Next up on our hiring road map is for a talented Head of Development / Technology Manager who can lead our technical development function. This role is responsible for defining the development standards that we adhere to, while ensuring that the Back-End and UI Development teams have the necessary processes, skills and training to understand and deliver against those standards, without compromising on quality, time or budget requirements of projects. It is essential to lead by example in being collaborative, listening, and making pragmatic and effective decisions to encourage the best from those around you. You need to be demonstrably approachable, reliable, and trust-worthy in all aspects of your work, and to support the technical team and senior management. Focus will be split between technical strategy, leadership, and oversight, along with client-facing workshops to support sales and high-level scoping, architecting, and estimation of development functionality. You should be passionate about the web industry, and proactive in investigating new tools, approaches and trends, to share this with the wider team. + Knowledge of CMS platforms e.g. one or more of Kentico, Sitecore, Episerver/Optimizely, Umbraco is essential
