Excellent opportunity for an ambitious DevOps engineer to join a fast paced and scaling start up in the automotive sector offering personal training budget, progression opportunities with an excellent bonus and benefits package.

This company are a solutions oriented start-up specialising in car sales and car finance who offer their employees an empowered and autonomous working environment which supports an agile and collaborative culture within a tight knit team.

In this role you will build scalable and highly available distributed infrastructure on AWS Cloud platform and managing the system lifecycle working on CI/CD pipelines and utilising containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.

The ideal candidate will have experience writing infrastructure as code using tooling such as Terraform, Ansible or Cloudformation. You will have solid experience with AWS and working with SQL and NOSQL databases such as Redis or Postgres.

The Role:

*Building infrastructure

*Responsible for deployment, automation, performance tuning, backup, recovery and security

*Monitoring system performance

*Troubleshooting deeply technical infrastructure incidents to maintain stability and optimal performance

The Person:

*Hands on AWS experience

*Experience working on CI/CD Pipelines

*Experience with Containerization tools such as Docker, Kubernetes or similar

*Knowledge of Infrastructure Automation with frameworks such as Terraform, Ansible or similar

*Strong Knowledge of SQL and NOSQL databases such as Postgres and Redis
