QA Engineer

London / Remote

£50,000 to £60,000 + Package

Excellent opportunity for a QA Engineer with JIRA & GIT experience to join a rapidly growing ecommerce platform, offering a varied and interesting position with great progression opportunities.

This company have rapidly grown over the past year, despite COVID they have continued to succeed and through this growth they are looking for a QA Engineer from a SaaS background to join their busy team.

In this role you will join a team of talented QA Testers, working with product and engineering to effectively plan testing and releases, while improving QA processes.

The ideal candidate will be a QA Engineer with knowledge of GIT & JIRA. Previous experience working within ecommerce or Software as a Service is beneficial.

The role:

*Work with a team of talented QA testers

*Own the release management process and ensure that the QA standards and requirements are met for each release

*Work with product and engineering to effectively plan testing and releases according to the roadmap

*Constantly improve QA processes to make sure the stability and quality of our product releases are increasing over time

*Use data to identify areas of the product that would require more testing or specific tests

*Demonstrate creativity and take initiative to improve our product's test coverage and methodologies

*1 day a week in the office, remote working available

The person:

*QA Engineering & Testing background

*Knowledge of source control (GIT, Gitflow, Pull requests, Code reviews) and bug tracking systems (JIRA) preferably in an agile (or equivalent) or iterative development environment

*You'll have experience building and running Continuous Integration (CI) pipelines and automated test suites

*Experience of test planning, execution and maintenance of automated test scenarios

*SaaS or ecommerce background beneficial
