About the job

Reporting to the VP Engineering, you will be working with our team of engineers on our data pipelines. Specifically, you will be helping to build out our current technology for scale, with the opportunity to implement new technology and solutions. You will take a special delight in automating manual processes, cleaning data, and finding optimisations in processes.

Your work will be criticl to the success of Emitwise and will inlcude:

Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software

Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverable

Help shape the future of a fast-growing Engineering team

Relevant candidates will likely have:

Experience building solutions to work with unstructured, messy data.

Experience working with ETL pipelines.

Experience with one or more general-purpose programming languages including but not limited to: Python, Java, C/C++, C#, Python, JavaScript, or Go.

The best candidates will be able to demonstrate

Experience working in Python.

Ability to work in a team environment, helping to upskill those in the team.

Good organisational skills, ability to manage own workload.

A fine-eye for detail, paired with the experience and skill to write code to solve users' problems.

Financial compensation

Salary range: £70,000-90,000
