Global Digital Programme Manager: UX

Role is based in London

Contract duration is 6 Months

Role is paying between £850 - £1050 per day

In this role, you will:

  • Be the overall delivery owner for one or more key digital delivery programmes within Business Banking
  • Lead a team of project managers and product owners to deliver a portfolio of projects within your programme(s)
  • Own the multi-disciplinary agile teams to deliver best in class new products, services and/or channels to meet or exceed user needs
  • Lead engagement with the GBB team on prioritisation and the book of work
  • Lead engagement with IT on the build and design of solutions
  • Research, gather, test and prioritise client requirements. Use this to create, own and maintain the requirement backlog.
  • Own the development of wireframes, prototypes and other high/low fidelity tools to clearly articulate the digital product vision and design to stakeholders and team members
  • Understand the commercial strategy and business goals for the product definition and use this to drive the delivery approach
  • Drive the UX design to bring your digital products to life, exploiting the wider CMB UX framework
  • Providing business sign off of requirements (user stories and UX), sprints, testing phases and live deployments including planning and defining backlog priority
  • Work with stakeholders to establish appropriate governance and controls to manage the deployment considering appropriate risk, legal and compliance requirements
  • Work with the digital leads to gather, validate and iterate requirements based on regional stakeholder feedback
  • Pro-actively Lead and engage all team members (direct and indirect) to achieve the programme deliverables in accordance with set time frames
  • Impact on the Business/Function
  • Drive the development of Digital capabilities for Business Banking, including helping drive the development of talent and culture
  • Deliver digital transformation initiatives for either our Business Banking or Corporate client bases to drive improvements in customer experience, revenue and cost efficiency
  • Take a highly customer centric approach to developing new digital capabilities / business models and strategy. Involve customers from idea creation, wireframes, prototype, Beta, full release and ongoing iterative development

Knowledge & Experience

  • Experience working in relevant environment/s, i.e. Digital change
  • Past working experience in a relevant role, i.e. Programme Manager or Senior Project Manager
  • Past experience of Agile methodologies and collaborating closely with IT teams
  • Experience working in Global teams, within a multi-country /multi programme matrix environment
  • Experience working in relevant market/context i.e. Desktop Internet, Mobile and Digital within Financial Services
  • A track record of constantly looking for ways to do things better and an excellent understanding of the mechanism necessary to successfully implement change
  • Strong understanding of the digital product development process, ranging from requirements and idea inception through to development and execution
  • Experience of managing 3rd party digital agencies and consultancies
  • Working with digital requirements gathering and digital journey mapping, working directly with business stakeholders. Able to articulate how these requirements are elaborated and validated
  • Owning, managing and organising requirements catalogues and processes
  • Able to demonstrate how customer centric thinking is expressed and reinforced through the digital product design processes
  • Strong understanding of digital UX and interaction design
  • Excellent communication skills and an understanding of how global teams need to work to be effective

  • Operate at a senior management level, working across segments, business and regions
  • Demonstrate the value of Strategic Business Change management in helping to shape the CMB Business' change agenda and achieve quick wins for the business, whilst also developing the long term roadmap for a change initiative.
  • Be flexible and adaptable in an environment of constantly changing priorities and staying true to the values and strategy of the Group
  • To effectively manage senior stakeholder considerations
  • Creating a true sense of urgency, pace, high performance and collaboration across business while delivering complex change initiatives
  • Ensuring priority change is driven forward with pace, whilst setting and managing realistic expectations, which often means having hard conversations up front

  • Working within Digital Transformation programme/s improving the client experience and driving efficiencies and cost savings to ensure CMB remains competitive and operating in line with regulation and TCF
