Our client is looking for a Support Desk Analyst, this role will be based in Harwell, Didcot with some flexibility to work from home. You will provide first line IT support through a shared service desk to 900 employees, customers and visitors with a focus on providing excellent customer service at all times.Client DetailsOur Client are a leading not for profit business who operate nationwide who support the Education sector.DescriptionThe Support Desk Analyst will: Provide coordinated support in a technical and administrative areas within the OneDesk team to ensure the delivery of efficient internal services.To support onedesk colleagues in the diagnosis and resolution of first line IT incidents and service requests logged through the shared service desk for our staff, customers and visitors.Learn the role of a first-class IT Engineer through training, documentation review and hands on development.Develop good analytical skills to assess performance, identify requirements and provide possible solutions to on-going issues or staff or customer needs.Develop an understanding of excellent customer service, putting our staff, customers and visitors at the heart of all you do.Provision of face-to-face, email, and telephone support, using remote support tools where required.Escalating issues to other members of the team, and other teams, as necessary within agreed SLA targetsMaintenance of IT user accounts according to appropriate access control and account management policy.Provision of technical support for IT systems and infrastructure to agreed SLA targets.To participate in the provision of support and maintenance for audio visual systems to agreed SLA targets.Installation and configuration software and hardware in compliance with defined technical standards.Implementation of IT, audio visual and telephony moves and changes.Helping maintain an inventory of all IT equipment in use and an accompanying register of computer users together with items of IT equipment 'owned' by them.Contributing to an IT technical knowledge base.Accepting deliveries and helping to manage stock levels.ProfileThe Support Desk Analyst:Can demonstrate good understanding of computing concepts and has had working exposure to Windows and Mac OS, M365Knowledge of IT Networking conceptsHave experience of working in a customer-facing environment.Have experience of working with a range of technologies, either within a corporate environment or at home.Some understanding of IT Security and NetworkingKnowledge of the Microsoft Office suiteGeneral technical aptitude with an interest in technology and engineeringBe based near Harwell, DidcotJob OfferThe Support Desk Analyst based near Harwell, Didcot is offering:3 month assignment Day rate between £100 - £120Fantastic team culture and great business.
