Mechanical Design Engineer (Hydraulics)Somerset£30'000 - £35'000 + Training + Progression + Holiday + PensionAre you a Design Engineer looking for a technically challenging and diverse position?Do you want the chance to work autonomously on a range of interesting Engineering projects?This company specialise in the design, service and installation of products for a range of blue-chip customers in the engineering industry. Due to continual growth and investment into the company, they are looking for a Design Engineer to join the team.In this position you will liaise with customers to understand their requirements and use Solidworks and AutoCAD to design, develop and produce a variety of mechanical, hydraulic and fluid power systems. You will also provide quotations and support engineering teams during the build process.This is an excellent chance for someone to work in a technically varied position where you can implement your own ideas whilst working on a number of key engineering projects.

The Role:

* Design a range of mechanical, hydraulic and fluid power systems

* Liaise with customers, provide quotations and assist engineering teams

* Play a pivotal role on a range of key engineering projects

The Person:

* Background in design using AutoCAD or Solidworks

* Experience working with mechanical, hydraulic or fluid power systems

* Willing to learn and develop new skills
