You will:

- Analyse team performance against KPIs through collection of Management Information

- Provide analysis of datasets

- Process, cleanse and verify the integrity of data

- Support insight and intelligence activity through analysis of research findings and ad-hoc internal data collection

- Support the activities of the international trade team through data mining, providing identification of targeted and de-duplicated lists for lead generation

- Maximise the use of data sources whilst being aware of data protection, data security and compliance with data and auditing requirements

You will be educated to degree level or equivalent and have experience of manipulating and presenting large databases as well as:

- Interpreting statistics and have scripting and programming skills such as SQL, Python and R languages

- Monitoring and interpreting information against pre-agreed processes including de-duplication of datasets

- Data science and machine learning algorithms such as Naïve Bayes, Decision Forest etc

- Data visualisation using tools such as Power BI or equivalent would be beneficial

- Natural language processing techniques, including bag of words and TF IDF

This permanent, full-time role is based in Barnsley although they are currently working remotely due to Covid-19. You may be required to travel to their Barnsley office once the restrictions on office working are lifted.
