Excellent opportunity for a Research and Development Manager to hit the ground running and join an exciting production house dominating the broadcasting technology industry overseeing the development of new and cutting edge products.

This company are an innovative and expanding robotics and technology company working for Hollywood Blockbusters and Broadcasting industry giants such as the BBC, ITV, CNN and Netflix. They value their employees and offer outstanding onsite training for their bespoke products and progression opportunities.

In this role you will work closely with the CEO to develop proposals for new and improved products, you will test and research the effectiveness and profitability of the new programmes and products. You will be responsible for the project management, overseeing the team of developers and managing team time lines.

The ideal candidate will have experience in R&D at a senior level and have familiarity with technical product development and deployment. Ideally the candidate will have experience working with interdisciplinary teams of Software Developers and have a keen interest in Technology, Robotics and/or broadcasting.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced R&D professional to use cutting edge technology with autonomy, training and progression working on highly sophisticated camera technology projects in a collaborative team and innovative industry.

The Role:

*Project Management

*Overseeing the Software Development Team

*Testing and Researching the effectiveness of new technical products before launch to market

*Developing proposals for new or improved products and programmes

The Person:

*Managerial experience in a Research and Development Team

*Experience working with Software Developers and Interdisciplinary technical teams

*Experience Overseeing complex research projects, analysing results and provides recommendations based on findings
