I am working with an exciting start up business based in Reading - commutable from Newbury, Swindon, Oxford, Slough, Woking and more, for an HPC Engineer to join their existing Engineering team. In this unique role, you will run, build, maintain and manage the full DevOps for the HPC Linux based system. You will also lead the design, cost analysis, upgrades for the system and infrastructure of the HPC platform. Deploy and optimise applications built by team members for the HPC system, investigate and resolve any performance related issues and create and maintain user documentation. As the HPC Engineer you can expect to be paid in the region of £70,000 P.A plus the addition of Share Options for joining at this key stage. As the HPC Engineer, I am looking for experience with:Python Programming Linux OSIndustry background with HPCDevOps experience for Hardware, System, Network, Data Storage systemsShell & System Scripting (Bash, Python, Make)Experience deploying in-house built and commercial simulation tools on HPC (e.g. Ansys, ADS, Matlab, Xilinx, Altium, Cadence, Solidworks, PDK) and licensing management software.Cloud Deployment (AWS, GCP, Azure)Hands on Automation/Manual TestingExcellent Communication and Customer Service skillsAbility to lead, manage, and work independently but also in a teamIf you would like more information or to apply to be the HPC Engineer, please get in touch with Josh.
