QA Test Engineer London to £70k

QA Test Engineer (Cypress JavaScript Java API Automation). Hugely successful trading company is seeking a QA Test Engineer to join their growing team. This is a high responsibility role with a lot of ownership as you'll be the sole QA within the UK based team.

As a QA Test Engineer you'll work closely with the development team to create robust automation test scripts for web applications utilising Cypress and JavaScript, ensuring that all customer journeys and free from defects. There is a brand new project in the pipeline which you will be heavily involved in as well as smaller projects that include Java API Automation work, however 90% of your time will focus on front end testing.

Based in London you'll join a growing team of friendly and supportive individuals. You won't be expected to be in the office every day and can work from home up to 2 days per week.

Requirements:

Previous experience within a QA Test Engineer / Software Testing role

Good knowledge of Cypress and JavaScript

Experience with TDD and BDD

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Desirable: trading / financial services experience
