The Linux Engineer will be a Linux Subject Matter Expert that will effective manage and maintain complex enterprise environments.This role is key in working with clients as they move to public clouds.Client DetailsGlobal, leading consulting firm with worldwide officesDescriptionThe Linux Engineer will: Migrate workloads to the cloudsWork with DevOps providing expertise across all Linux domains, often including modern application hosting solutions such as docker and Kubernetes.Help to improve and optimize Linux platforms.Help customers adopt public cloud solutions with a reliance on Linux as the OS of choice. ProfileThe Linux Engineer, London will have:5+ years of experience in Linux, in depth, covering one or more of RHEL, SUSE or Ubuntu, including clustering.Experience with vendor solutions such as Ansible Tower.Strong experience with docker, Kubernetes or similar - implementing, optimising and operating.Knowledge and experience of public cloud platforms.Strong around Linux kernels, working in complex enterprise environments.Any open source tool set experience is beneficial (fluentbit/ Splunk etc).Job OfferThe Linux Engineer, London will receive:A competitive base salary, depending on experience.Work for a global consultancyTailored training programRapid career progression Customer facing involvementFantastic benefits
