Data Engineer

UK Remote

£35,000-£40,000 + Progression + Training + Bonus + 38 Days Holiday + Flexible Working + Benefits

Excellent opportunity for a Data Engineer to join a growing start-up offering excellent progression and training opportunities, regular salary reviews and the chance to work on a large variety of challenging yet interesting projects.

This company are going from strength at the moment and have just signed up a number of large clients to long term deals. They are now helping lead the charge in the fight against energy wastage through to protecting the most vulnerable from the worst of COVID.

In this role you will work as part of a much larger Technical Team including other Data Engineers, Data Scientist, Developers, Analysts, and Architects. You will liaise with stakeholders and clients on a variety of projects and often see them through from cradle to grave. You can be based anywhere in the UK for this position, and after a year you will be able to work remotely from anywhere in the world. Hours are flexible to suite you.

The ideal candidate will be a Data Engineer with demonstratable experience with Java or C#. Candidates will need SQL and database modelling experience, along with a good understanding of DevOps principles. Any experience with Python, R, Cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure), Data Warehousing or Linux Administration would be beneficial but not essential.
