We are looking for a Data Analyst who can help set the course of the CSP's data transformation. Our newly-established Data Unit is the epicentre of data culture and infrastructure for a historic institution. We are a small team with a hugely exciting role, and your experience and skills will have an immediate and lasting impact. You will be a key partner for the CSP working on a wide range of projects, from classic business analytics, to innovative workforce research. You will help build the data capabilities of the whole organisation: developing tools that bring the data to our colleagues, and the culture of enquiry and critical evaluation that brings colleagues to the data. Our own rich data assets, in combination with insight from our wider data ecosystem, offer a unique resource to support better understanding of the needs of the people and the profession that we serve. You will have proven technical skills - in statistics, programming and data visualisation. Just as importantly, you will be a great communicator - able to clarify and contextualise data stories for all kinds of audiences. You will be in your element using real-world data to answer real-world questions and you will get to see the impact of your work, both within the CSP, and for the people and the profession that we serve. The CSP is the professional, trade union and educational body for the 60,000 Chartered Physiotherapists, support workers and students in the UK; and one of the largest representative bodies in healthcare. We are proud to have been awarded the 2021 Best Companies One to Watch accreditation.  Our values At the CSP our goal is to create a culture which is characterised by innovation, respect, encouragement, passion and teamwork.  We all strive for continuous improvement and to be the best at everything we do. We aspire to work in a way that embodies our values of learning, courage, inclusive and integrity. Our shared values are part of our organisational DNA and reflect the expectations we have of ourselves and others. They guide what we do and how we do it to have the greatest impact for our members. For further information and details of how to apply, please click APPLY NOW. CVs will not be accepted. Closing date: 10am, 11 August 2021.
Interview date: week commencing 23 August 2021. We offer an excellent benefits package, including 27 days' annual leave and generous pension scheme. The CSP is committed to equality of opportunity and welcomes applications from all sections of the community. We would be happy to discuss with shortlisted candidates flexible working arrangements that suit the needs and preferences of candidates as well as the business needs of the organisation.   NO AGENCIES
