Our financial services client is currently seeking an experienced Planning and Third Party Costs Manager to join their team in the London office. The Planning and Third Party Costs Manager role sits within a central pilliar of the Global Operations Technology function and supports the COO for Global Operations Technology as well as the Head of Strategy and Central Management. The role is responsible for managing the Third Party Costs (software licences/maintenance, non perm work requests) and oversight of the Global Operations Technology portfolio, including owning tracking of contracts, licences and SLAs on behalf of the Senior Leadership Team. The role will also encompass portfolio governance oversight across the Global Operations Technology team including coordination of planning, milestone tracking and reporting, MI, and status reporting in line with the clients change framework.Key Responsibilties:Management of vendor / supplier commercial engagement with the Global Operations Technology Team.Ensure adequate due diligence is performed from a Third Party risk perspective.Engage with Procurement and IT Cost Management to seek approvals.Commercial, Financial Management and Control for Third Party engagements including contracts, licences and SLA reviews.Manage relationships with external suppliers.Drive portfolio delivery governance proactively across a global change portfolio.Establish effective programme controls and procedures.Set high expectations concerning quality and put in place quality assurance processes.Own a process for portfolio planning and milestone reporting across the global portfolio, ensuring a tight change control process is in place.Ensure a governance process can be followed across waterfall and agile methodologies in order to meet the client's change framework governance controls.Drive the adoption of the client's standards and work in alignment with client's methodology at all times.

Key Requirements:Experience within the Technology SectorExperience in Financial Services Strategy and Programme delivery.Delivery experience in Technology Programme Management.Excellent communication skills are mandatory, as are good tact and diplomacy, as the role requires constant communication with other individuals and teams with the Client Group.Excellent time management and prioritisation of work tasks.Self-motivated enthusiastic and proven rapid learning capability.Utilizes own initiative to resolve issues.Experience in Programme management through Clarity.Experience in Archer would be an advantage but not essential.
