Python Developer London / WfH to £90k

Python Developer / Senior Software Engineer *Remote Interview*. FinTech solutions provider is seeking a data centric Python Developer as they expand their UK presence.

As a Python Developer you will prototype and develop new features, analytics and enhancements to the core trading platform with a focus on improving backend infrastructures, optimising platform performance and ensuring scalability. You'll get to see your work go live rapidly from idea to prototype to build and release, collaborate with other senior engineers to make the technical choices and provide technical leadership to more junior team members, allowing you to make a real impact and progress your career.

Driven by technology this company is able to offer a remote interview / onboarding process and work from home during the current social distancing measures, with 1-2 days WFH p/week going forward.

Requirements:

  • Advanced Python development skills including NumPy, Pandas
  • Experience working on finance / trading systems
  • Good understanding of SQL Alchemy and Data Modelling techniques
  • Familiar with Distributed Systems
  • Logical mindset with a passion for problem solving
  • Collaborative, keen to learn and share knowledge with others
  • Software stack includes Flask, Java, RabbitMQ, JavaScript (Backbone.js), MySQL, HTML5, CSS (Bootstrap), Docker, AWS - experience with any of these advantageous
  • Degree educated, 2.1 or above gained in Computer Science or similar technical / scientific / numerate discipline
