It's a great time for a Commercial Technical Analyst to join a newly established team at the start of their journey to land transformational change. As a member of the team you'll work with the relevant stakeholders and business teams to understand needs, and use analytics to help develop, design and create new digital solutions and products. Client DetailsWith our head office in Leeds, we are one of Britain's largest retailers, we've just embarked on a programme of digital transformational change and we are looking for a Commercial Technical Analyst to help us use our data in a different way to manage existing, and helping to develop new products. You will have the opportunity to manage a range of products at various stages of the development cycle and will have full project management support via members of a cross-functional product team.DescriptionAs the Commercial Technical Analyst you will utilise your technology expertise to build MVPs (Minimum Viable Product) for new products e.g. building new analysis in PowerBI or pulling data sets using SQL. You will support the rest of the Commercial Transformation team by providing guidance and insight to help manage team information and reportingProfileStrong commercial acumen and the ability to use your technical capabilities to inform commercial decision making.A high level of analytical capability using SQL, data preparation and visualisation tools such as Alteryx, Tableau or Power BI.The ability to work cross functionally and challenge and influence a diverse set of stakeholders will be key, as will the ability to communicate technical and complex topics in an efficient and understandable manner.You will need to be comfortable working in a fast paced, ambiguous environment and be able to use your own initiative to navigate changing priorities.A self-motivated innovator with the ability to act on their own initiative and the drive to pick up and learn new skills and technologies when required.Job Offer If flexible working is important to you, then look no further! we are proud of our commitment to flexible working.
