You will join a successful construction contractor within the Rochdale area who are looking to expand their IT support capabilities.
Your new role
As an IT assistant for this company you will have the responsibility in assisting their existing IT support to ensure that all of their systems are running smoothly and efficiently.
What you'll need to succeed
Ideally you will have had 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar role, with the following all being desirable skills:
- Knowledge of building computers desktops from parts
- Network topology knowledge - switches, routers, access points, NAS servers, include TCP IP addressing
Experience of carrying their physical computer network installation - network sockets, wiring etc.
- Operating system installation - Windows 10, MS Office
- Experience setting up email clients - POP3, IMAP
- Experience setting up tablets/mobile phones (including email accounts)
Benefits include
- Salary of £20,000 to £23,000 Per Annum depending on experience
