You will be a pivotal part of the IT Project team, focused on delivering IT projects in line with the standard technologies supported. You will also provide 3rd line support to our clients and will offer technical advice in the format of consultancy services when needed.The role will involve a mix of both office-based and client activity and will require some flexibility in both location and hours to deliver projects successfully.Client DetailsMy client is a Managed Service Provider with a real family feel to it, they provide Cloud first Microsoft Solutions into SMEs in the local area.They are looking to grow their headcount from 15 heads to 30 heads over the next 3 years and want strong Engineers who can support that vision and want to be a part of that journey. DescriptionDemonstrate experience of delivering technical projects (B2B) - MSP experience highly desirable Ability to communicate to clients at all levels and to articulate to non-technical personnelDeliver billable project days remaining in control of the budget and project end date(s)Implement new systems whilst avoiding unexpected downtimeAct as project lead on projectsHelp clients with change-management activitiesDesign, test, install and monitor new systems under the scope of project responsibilitiesPrepare documentation and present progress reports to customers and internal resourceOrganise training for users and other colleaguesProvide 3rd line supportWork with technical sales and support, and where appropriate, maintain contact with client organisationsProfileThe ideal candidate would be able to demonstrate success in previously delivering many of the following projects. The candidate will have acted single-handedly or been a key delivery engineer, on:Microsoft 365 deployments (including migration of data from other on-premises or cloud systems, Email, Microsoft Licensing, SharePoint, OneDrive, Modern Workplace, Intune, Azure AD, Teams, Security)Telephony rollouts (Microsoft Teams calling) - number porting, setting up call flows, IVRs, Hunt groups & consulting with clients on designStorage and virtualization projects in Hyper V Windows Server-based domain network rollouts (including workgroup-to-domain rollouts, from scratch, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory and SQL)Windows client OS rollouts and upgradesAn understanding and appreciation of Project delivery SLAs, as well as some grounding in ITIL, Prince2 or another Project Management standard is desirable.Job Offer£35,000 - £40,000 + paid certifications + bonus +additional benefits
