This client has a successful track record of deploying capital, and developing solar farms globally, and so are looking for a candidate with similar interests and experiences.The ideal candidate will be an experienced Solar Project Developer, who has already has professional experience in utility scale project business. Also, be able to demonstrate a track record in completing transactions within the German market, with an understanding of PPAs and commercial experience.This is a fantastic opportunity to progress your career within the highly sought-after renewable energy sector; with a well-established international company that can support ambitious investment targets.The Role:Responsibility for the initiation and execution of greenfield solar developments.Will lead the creation of the new German developments and planning team.Managing business processes, which relate to planning and financing and executing them.Developing and proposing business development strategies, KPIs and main goals for the German Market.Drafting and presenting annual budgets to senior management, and performing project studies on market analysis, feasibility and risk assessment.Responsible for the management of external resources assuring compliance with the signed agreements.The Person:Extensive understanding of the German solar development market.Minimum of 10 years' experience in a similar position within a solar development business.Ability to run the full project life cycle, with exceptional project management and analytical skills.Strong business insights with the ability to adapt and evolve a business model.Strong people skills and management experience.Proficient in MS Office and industry specific software programmes.
