This is an opportunity to join a professional engineering design consultancy carrying out varied and interesting work in the fields of special purpose machinery, automation, and product design. As well as design work they often manage projects right through to manufacture. They work in industries as diverse as automotive, defence, and health and beauty. Many of their projects come to them as a "back of an envelope" idea, which they then take through all the stages of development to a finished product.

They are recruiting innovative design engineers to join their successful team.

They want you to have creativity combined with high attention to detail and good communication skills. Ideal candidates will be mechanical engineering graduates or equivalent, with some 3D CAD experience (ideally SolidWorks). Both junior (recently graduated) and senior roles are available.

The roles will include: concept and detail design, engineering drawings, occasional calculation and FEA studies, prototype building and testing, and preparation of project related documents (specifications, reports, risk assessments, etc.). You will work closely with customers all over the UK, including occasional site visits requiring travel.

They offer a competitive salary and flexible working hours in a pleasant working environment. They also offer excellent experience and opportunities for training and personal development. They are located in the beautiful market town of Skipton, "Gateway to the Dales", voted "Best Place to Live in the UK 2014" and "Most Courteous Town in Britain 2016", with easy commuting from Leeds and Bradford.
