I am actively looking for an Embedded Software Architect to join my client, a global technology company working on novel wireless technology for consumer products based in Cambridge. This wonderful location encompasses a vibrant and historic city and is surrounded by an idyllic and picturesque countryside - Cambridge really does have something to offer everyone! If successful, you will be responsible for architecting their Firmware for their wireless chips, fully documenting the architecture, keeping up to date on the newest standards and how they can be incorporated into the current architecture. Required experienceRelevant degree in a technical subject such as Maths, Science, Computer Science or EngineeringExperience developing host and embedded software, ideally within a communication protocol stackPrevious software architecture experienceExperience of wireless communication protocols such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi or TCP/IP stacksThis is an excellent opportunity for either an existing software architect looking to progress their career, or a principal level engineer who is already working on architecture development and is looking to take the next step in their career with a multinational renowned company.
