A well-known company operating within the Electronic Components market is looking to hire a Field Sales Engineer who has experience working with Imaging & Photonics technology. The role will be remotely based from within the UK and will require some travel in the future within the UK. Qualifications & Knowledge:Knowledge of the OEM camera/IR market and customers, the candidate is expected to sell specialist cameras and associated accessories into multiple market sectors, from Military, Transport and railways to bio medical and scientific camera solutions. Understanding of the fundamentals of optical technologies relating to specialist cameras and imaging applications including the military, security and industrial markets. Emerging markets include Bio medical / Pharmaceutical / automotive / Oil & Gas / MilitaryKnowledge of Thermal Imaging spectrum cameras (SW/MW/LW)A graduate qualification in Opto-electronics or related subject would be an advantageSkills & Experience:
Proven experience within a Sales roleExisting relationships with major customers within our target marketsPrevious exposure to suppliers such as Flir, SBIR, IRC, Advanced energy, Teledyne of interest, Clear Align.Practical mechanical capabilities.Excellent verbal and written communication skillsIT Networking skills (capable of setting up IP camera systems)Good commercial acumen with ability to present/demonstrate our companies products to all management and engineering levels.Delivery technical PowerPoint presentations
