Director of IT Security Operations / SecOps A leading online organisation who are going through a period of significant expansion are looking to hire a Director of IT Security Operations, a key position within an international division of an organisation who operate world-renowned software platforms at scale.Leading a team of IT security managers / department heads, the Director of IT Security Operations will provide guidance to leaders and stakeholders. The teams operate and cover vulnerability management controls, data loss prevention access governance controls and security operations centre/SOC. A thought leader with a strong technical background, the successful candidate will ideally currently be leading managers/technical leads and be an established and well regarded individual, leading teams in a progressive enterprise environment within an online, transactional platform environment such as e-commerce, fintech, investment banking, etc.What we're looking for:Experience leading and developing managers responsible for protecting sensitive informationExperienced with designing and operations of detecting control failure, e.g. DLP, vulnerability scanning/management, access governance.Knowledge of cloud, agile development, DevOps and secure SDLCLeadership experience that has included overing SIEM and IDS capability/controlsThe Director of IT Security Operations will have a technical background, have progressed through the ranks in to a senior leadership position, and be ready to take on a new challenge. The Director of IT Security Operations will need to be a confident leader, able to liaise and build relationships with various stakeholders and be a keen problem solver.This is a dynamic, fast paced, collaborative and transparent environment.
