Senior Business Analyst

Chorley, Lancashire / remote

Market leading energy software and managed services Company, operating in five locations across the globe, is experiencing significant growth and looking to recruit a Senior Business Analyst. You will be responsible for a small team of BA's, offering mentorship and knowledge transfer to your direct reports.

Skills required:

*Extensive business analysis experience in the utilities/energy industry

*Experience of billing in the energy industry

*Experience in of product line management

*Experience of Agile software development methodologies

Desirable

*Proven experience of billing software.

*Understanding of the principles of Energy billing including standing charge, consumption-based billing, tariffs and estimation.

*Detailed knowledge of either; Smart Metering - ideally SMETS2, although SMETS1 experience will be considered or traditional pre-payment

As the successful Senior BA you will be tasked with producing Business and Functional user story specifications, liaison with development teams throughout the software development lifecycle, and interpreting industry requirement for technical/development staff.
