Plus Excellent Company Benefits The Cyber Security Engineer Opportunity: We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Cyber Security Engineer to join the IT Security team in Bradford. Reporting to the IT Security Manager you will be responsible for ensuring the availability, reliability, and security of the company's systems and the confidentiality and integrity of the organisation's data. Key Responsibilities & Tasks: + Providing secure and reliable operations of network and cloud security systems.
+ Troubleshooting operational and security issues.
+ Defining and implementing secure network designs and communications.
+ Monitoring, analysing, and responding to security alerts.
+ Defining and implementing security best practices.
+ Conducting vulnerability testing and risk analysis.
+ Continuous improvements to operational processes and procedures.
+ Promoting and advocating security awareness throughout the organisation What we are looking for: + You'll have an understanding of networking protocols, common attack methods, secure network & cloud architecture, cloud security best practices and troubleshooting methodologies.
+ Experience with firewall operations (Palo Alto, ASA), cloud security (Azure, AWS), scripting, automation and orchestration, networking, routing and switching. Expertise in network access control, web application security, SIEM (Splunk), Threat hunting / ethical hacking and vulnerability management would be advantageous.
