Backend Software Engineer Cambridge to £65k

Backend Software Engineer / Developer (C++ Python API) *Remote Interview WFH*. Would you like to join a well-funded "tech for good" start-up and collaborate with a team of highly talented software engineers to bring an innovative product to market?

As a Backend Software Engineer you will design and develop for the core product, a complex mathematically based C++ algorithmic software that can be used on a range of devices to process audio, such as hearing aids, IoT home devices, smart speakers, and more to eliminate background noise. You'll partner with clients with a focus on API development which will be embedded into customers' products.

The company has just received significant funding and has signed a deal with a major electronics manufacturer; this is an excellent opportunity to join as they scale. You'll be based in modern offices near Cambridge City centre with a quiet, relaxed working environment and core hours of 1000 to 1600; driven by technology the company can currently offer a remote interview and onboarding process and work from home with the expectation to do a mix of office based and WFH going forward.

Requirements:

You have strong C++ development experience

You have a good knowledge of API development

You have a good working knowledge of Linux OS

You have Python coding ability

You're familiar with CMake

Nice to have: Jenkins, Confluence, JIRA, NumPy, SciPy or Matlab
