My Client have a successful platform that reproduces knew and innovative products and applications that harness big data, game-play experiences and even VR to propel them to the forefront of their market. They are currently searching for a Senior Java Developer who will have the ability to hit the ground running and lead by example as a senior within a team of 10. This modern and complex set of applications and platforms rely on a well written microservices system - you'll be able to design and develop new features and enhancements to the primary product as well as having a key impact on existing systems. Focusing on scalability, security and availability - you'll need to work within a collaborative agile environment to ensure your best work is done.

Experience

Strong Java (11), Spring (boot / MVC)

Background having worked on microservices

SasS and AWS/ GCP services experience

Security and Networking know-how

Use of Golang and or Kotlin in commercial or personal projects

Problem solving mindset and Computer Science background

Kubernetes, Docker and Terraform exposure would be a plus

Ability to collaborate with Front-end developers, QA and Design

As a Senior Back End Engineer within this team, you'll be mentoring others and working closely with the Front End, DevOps and QA team to ensure the business continues to reimagine their customers experience within an industry that is not pigeonholed or restricted.
