to £55,000 base + Benefits

As a trusted and preferred recruitment partner to this global financial institution, we have been asked to assist in the hire of a Business Systems Analyst. You will support our client on a high-level project surrounding the sale of an international function of the business to another organisation.

Your main responsibilities will be supporting the transition of the business, specifically including business readiness and IT readiness. This FTC is signed off until the end of the year (when the sale is scheduled to take place), however, it is likely to be extended beyond this as there will be work beyond the sale itself.

Role Overview

-Supporting Business Readiness: Working with Finance, Operations, Investments and Marketing teams to ensure our clients international business is ready for the competition of the sale.

-Support the Business Transition: Work with the programme team to transition the international business from our clients central and shared function to the buyer's replacement solutions, specifically around Finance and HR.

-Support IT Readiness: Work with the international business on the segregation and separation of systems still being provided by our client to the international business post completion.

Skills / Requirements

-Experience of a similar project (business sale / purchase transitions and migrations)

-Experience working with core business systems (including Finance and HR) and IT systems

-Business Analysis skills to identify, capture, develop and document requirements.

-Working with third party suppliers and stakeholders - managing expectations, acting as the link between technical personnel and end business users.

-Working with the business to ensure system functionality and determine system changes, including configuring system settings and testing functionality and new releases.

-Able to design and document business processes and assist with planning activities.

-Knowledge of the IT delivery lifecycle and SDLC, alongside Agile / DevOps environments

-Structured business systems analysis skills including data modelling and design skills.

-Technical knowledge may include application and data integration platforms, web content management, CMR platforms, ERP solutions, SQL server databases and Microsoft technologies.

Our client is based in Southampton but will allow fully remote working, and so will consider applications from candidates located anywhere in the UK.

FTC Package: You can expect a base salary up to £55,000.
