This company is a very well-funded and profitable start-up looking to grow the team by bringing in their first in-house senior. You will join the team making a positive impact on efficiency in the industry but also on the environment.
In this role you will implement and deploy backends based on input from designers and also ensure the technical feasibility of their designs. You will test code and have the opportunity to mentor the juniors in the team.
The ideal candidate will have good frontend experience using Python with Django REST as a framework. You will also have a great understanding of FastAPI and SqlAlchemy.as well as good knowledge of architecture patterns like microservices.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in the logistics industry whilst also having a positive environmental effect. You will be able to join a small team as a senior working closely with the lead developers in the team.
The Role:
*Implement and deploy backends based on input from designers.
*Be involved in backend architecture decisions.
*Write scalable, well-tested code.
*Mentor more junior developers in the team.
The Person:
*Great backend Python experience using Django REST as a framework.
*Good knowledge of backend technologies like FastAPI and SqlAlchemy.
*Experience interacting with SQL databases such as Redis and PostgreSQL.
*Proficient with software archtecture patterns such as microservices.
*English required, German is a plus.
