Job Title: IT Support Engineer / 2nd Line SupportLocation: LondonSalary: £26,500 - £31,500 per annumJob Type: Full-time, PermanentWe're an established MSP in search of a super, driven, IT geek to be a 2nd line support technician and engineer. You'll need to have solid technical skills, even better communication skills, a positive, can do attitude and the ability to work with minimal direction. We're a lively team that love delivering world class IT support to clients across the UK and abroad.Key Duties:Provide onsite and remote support to end-usersProvide problem resolution and training to other technical support personnelRespond to assigned tickets/tasks in accordance with SLA guidelinesApply diagnostic utilities and best practice methodology to aid in troubleshootingTroubleshoot Windows Desktop, Server, Microsoft Office and Line of Business ApplicationsUtilise RMM platforms to maximum efficiencyReact to service outages promptly with adherence to standard operating proceduresPerform hands-on fixes at the desktop and server level, including installing and upgrading software, implementing file backups, and configuring systems and applicationsParticipate in the 'On-Call' RotationAbout you:3+ Years IT Experience in a support function4+ Years Customer Service experienceAt least 3 Technical Certifications PreferredMicrosoft MCSA, MCITP, MCSEComptia Network +, Cisco CCNA, Security +Strong understanding of TCP/IP and Windows NetworkingPractical knowledge of Routers, Firewalls, Switches, Patch PanelsWorking knowledge of Windows Server Operating Systems (2008 -2019)Strong knowledge of Windows Desktop Operating Systems (7,8,10)Experience with AD, MS Exchange, Remote Desktop Services, Citrix and DNSExperience with all elements of Office365 is imperativeAwesome phone manner, loves helping others and the ability to articulate technical information clearly to non-technical peopleBenefits: Yearly bonusCompany pensionPrivate dental insuranceBeer FridgeBreakout RoomSwanky coffee machineLovely bossWe expect this role to be fulfilled within the next 2 weeks so if you're interested and tick the boxes then don't hesitate to send over your CV.
