As part of this recruitment drive, we are currently looking for a Network Engineer to be based in Liverpool.Description* Deputise for the Lead Infrastructure Operations Engineer
* Lead and manage an Infrastructure Operations (Network & Telephony) team shift
* Plan, budget and account for the Infrastructure Operations (Network & Telephony) Team's work
* Continuously monitor and operate the network and telephony technologies (on-premise, PaaS, IaaS and SaaS), ensuring technologies remain available 24/7/365, performant to SLAs/OLAs, and delivering a good user and customer experience
* Lead the proactive identification and resolution of infrastructure issues before they impact the user/customer
* Lead the delivery of Incident Management, diagnosing the root causes of incidents, developing work arounds and fixes, to return infrastructure and users to an operational condition
* Lead the delivery of Problem Management, diagnosing root causes of problems, prioritising maintenance activity and developing fixesProfile* Experience of leading engineering teams
* Proven experience with WAN and LAN switches (Meraki), Wireless Access Points (Meraki), firewalls (Cisco and Palo Alto), Load-balancing (Citrix Netscaler), Virtual Private Network (VPN), VOIP telephony and contact centre and collaboration technologies
* Excellent communication skills
