IT Portfolio Lead / PMO Manager

Base Monthly Rate: AED 30k - AED 50k

Initial 12 Month Contract
As a preferred recruitment partner to one of the most prestigious organisations in the world, we have been asked to assist in the hire of an IT Portfolio Lead / PMO Manager to join them on initial 12-month contracts (expected to extend beyond, or eventually go perm). This position is based in our client's global HQ in the vibrant city of Dubai, although initial remote working will be accepted due to travel restrictions. There are multiple positions available at a variety of levels.
We are looking for PMO's with specialized skills, knowledge, and relationships with managers, executives and other key stakeholders that are extremely useful in changing ways of working. A suitable portfolio lead would assist in transforming the traditional PMO to an APMO and lead the move to objective milestones and Lean-Agile budgeting.

Experience / Skills Required
*Minimum of 2 years project delivery experience using industry standard project/program management methodologies.
*Demonstrated experience with coordinating, facilitating delivery of business IT solutions that delivers tangible value.
*Demonstrated experience with stakeholder management and project team management/leadership.
*Knowledge of project management practices (such as Project Management Institute), may be limited, is preferred.
*Excellent customer service skills and ability to coach a team of support staff, strong communication skills in both written and spoken English and good negotiating and persuasive abilities and ability to interact with all levels in the organization.
*Strong analytical abilities and computer literacy skills.
*Knowledgeable in MS Office Applications is required.
*Banking / Airline / Oil & Gas Sector Background.
