User Experience Designer (12 Month FTC)
Blue Cross are one of the UK's leading rehoming organisations for animals. We support sick, injured and homeless pets and care for more than 40,000 animals every year through our rehoming, veterinary and education programmes.
We're now looking for a User experience Designer to join our team in London for a 12 month, fixed term contract.

We do great work with pets; rehoming, supporting owners and rescues amongst others, however, to support our work and to help rehome pets, we need to actively engage with our audiences and create useable digital products to aid this. Your role will be vital to this element of our activities, supporting us to gain supporters, communicate our message and deliver on our mission and commitments.
What's more, you'll discover an environment filled with animal lovers where we all work together for the welfare of pets and the betterment of the lives of the pets we support.
As a User Experience Designer, you‘ll be adding the creative touches to our digital output, ensuring everything we do places the audience at the front and centre.
Leading digital user research and user experience design, you'll focus on research and usability testing to make sure our digital experiences are best-in-class and work for our audiences.
This varied and engaging role will see you working as part of the Digital Team, carrying out wireframing and prototyping, developing standards, processes, tools and best practice in the design of online products.
Additionally, you'll be using your expertise to upskill the wider team and colleagues across the charity to enable the creation of great audience experiences and to enhance
d the quality and consistency of our digital offering.
