This is a unique opportunity to work with an incredibly experienced team and use your System Security or Infrastructure Engineering expertise to contribute to a vital cause. We want you to use your skills to save our planet as part of the team at the world's leading independent conservation organisation.

As Information Security Analyst you will be the interface between our ICT Infrastructure and Data Compliance teams, translating requirements to enforce our security and compliance policies through technology, as well as playing a critical role in the ongoing transformation of our overall IT security strategy. Your remit will be to ensure system security is maintained, vulnerability testing is carried out, security and compliance policies are applied, and certification is achieved to verify our ability to prevent and mitigate cyber threats. You will also work with the wider Infrastructure team to protect system boundaries, keep computer systems and network devices hardened against attacks and secure highly sensitive data.

For this role you must have a background in System Security or Infrastructure Engineering. This will have given you direct experience with anti-virus software, intrusion detection and prevention, firewalls and content filtering. You will possess sound knowledge of risk assessment tools, technologies and methods. You will also have a good understanding of computer forensic tools, technologies and methods. Comfortable planning, researching and developing security policies, standards and procedures, you will have been involved in system administration role supporting multiple platforms and applications. Important, will be the ability to communicate network security issues to peers and management.
