QA Test Engineer / Automation Tester London / WfH to £60k

QA Test Engineer / Automation Tester (JavaScript API Postman) *Remote Interview WfH*. Are you a quality driven QA Test Engineer with backend and API testing experience?

You could be progressing your career at one of the country's leading PropTech companies that have revolutionised the way we find property for rent and sale and working on apps that are used by millions on a daily basis.

As a QA Test Engineer you'll be an integral part of a product focussed Agile software delivery team, collaborating in Agile ceremonies to provide the QA perspective and help advise software engineers on QA best practice. You'll gain a solid understanding of the applications that sit within a microservices environment and apply a risk based approach to testing; defining and capturing a range of test cases and expanding the automation test suite (mainly written in JavaScript) as well as using tools such as Postman for API testing.

There's currently a remote interview and onboarding process as well as the ability to work from home; in time you'll join colleagues in the London office for three days a weeks with the other two working remotely. Requirements:

You have strong web based testing experience

You have experience of collaborating in Agile software delivery teams with short release cycles

You have a good understanding of microservices

You have experience of running and debugging automated tests within JavaScript based frameworks

You have API testing experience, ideally with Postman

You're collaborative and pragmatic with great communication skills
