Join this innovative social business as Systems Administrator/Developer and provide vital administration, troubleshooting and support, as well as new design and development.

Raven is a business with a clear social purpose: building homes and changing lives in Surrey and Sussex. We aim to be an outstanding provider of homes, a cornerstone of the community and an innovative employer.

As Systems Administrator/Developer, you'll be both supporting current systems/applications, and designing/developing new web-based and client server applications, as driven by business need. Working with the Business Systems Manager to ensure our applications suite is stable - and that new applications meet all standards and requirements - you'll also use requirements analysis and design techniques to scope, plan, develop and document any new systems.

With proven abilities in systems administration, support and problem solving, you'll also know how to translate business requirements into system functional and non-functional requirements. Your detail-oriented, logical approach will be balanced by the willingness to learn new business and technical concepts, work with minimal supervision and lead a team.

Having worked with a Microsoft dynamics, SQL based housing management system or similar environment, you'll have strong SQL skills, preferably with Azure Dev-ops, the Power Platform, etc. You'll understand software development lifecycle methodologies (e.g. Agile, Waterfall, Iterative), application systems support and Test & Release strategies. You should also share our values: earning trust by being open and accountable, listening with an open mind, working collaboratively and caring about making things better.

We support and trust our staff to work as a team and be their best. We offer good salaries and benefits, a great pension scheme, paid holiday and sickness benefit, plus support for further training to develop your skills and career.
