They are a rapidly expanding Enterprise Data Warehouse start-up and are determined to create the best Software Development team in Europe, based out of their London Offices.In this role you will get data between servers, across complex networks and software stacks. Your job is to build these processes to move data from client databases, into this businesses own databases, and back out again as fast as possible. They operate in a Cloud Native Microservices environment, meaning you'll programme using Java at a multi-threaded systems level.The ideal candidate will be confident with Java, Spark, Kafka, and S3/MinIO. Some experience with at least one of the following is essential: Concurrency, Multithreading, Multicore Programming. You will also work with JIT, GC profiling, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, SQL and relational databases, and Big Data file formats and protocols.
