Project Manager (Change)

Location - Birmingham/Remote

Daily rate - £360/day PAYE £461/day Umbrella

Start date - ASAP

Contract - 6 Months

Our financial services client is currently seeking a Change & Implementation Manager to join their team as part of natural growth within the department. Project Leads are involved at all stages of the project lifecycle, from change initiation, design and delivery, through to benefits realisation and will support more senior project managers. They may be located in BAU teams as well as Project teams. Project Leads may have direct reports and may be supported by Business Analysts, Programme Management Office (PMO) staff or admin support staff.

Key Responsibilities: Tough legacy strategy, implementation and migration.Tough legacy collateral and supportBooking process for RFRs and Base Rate migrations to be defined.MI oversight and reviewQA and Compliance assurance planning, implementation and management.Defining the project approach, building stakeholder buy-in around the project plan, commitments and changesManaging delivery proactively, balancing scope, schedule, communications, budget and risksDefining resource needs, responsibilities and schedulesWorking within project controls and proceduresWorking within established quality assurance processesManaging relationships with internal and external stakeholdersReporting progress, issues, dependencies and risks to project leadership and committees (as appropriate) and making recommendations to influence decision making in order to maintain progress towards delivery and benefits realisationProviding guidance and maintaining a focus on how the project aligns to wider programme objectivesAdhering to the Client's project methodology at all times

Key Requirements:Libor Transistion Experience (MUST HAVE)Overseeing transistion of EuroLibor LoansDesirable to have one of more project management qualifications e.g. Prince2, APMP, Agile, MoPDesirable to have knowledge of the Client's Business Transformation Framework (BTF2)Good level of banking and business knowledge and / or experienceProven track record in project and change deliveryKnowledge of the marketplace, competition and regulatory environmentsAbility to gather, analyse and interpret comprehensive information and/or customer requirements in order to provide solutions that are commercially viable and sustainableInterpersonal skills, with a track record of influencing and driving strategy in a matrix-management environmentSupport business with change acceptance plansGood written and verbal communication skillsAnticipates and identifies risks and ensures appropriate steps are taken to mitigate and manage themInfluencing skills and ability to builds positive working relationships with our customers, colleagues and stakeholderDemonstration of the Client's UK principles of treating customers fairlyAbility to influence and drive financial cost and benefit performance from projects and programmes

* Planning and organisational skills in order to manage the unexpected as well as anticipated issues or events, so that success can still be achieved

* Effective adoption of governance and control processesAbility to create and deliver effective change roadmaps
